A Journey of Reconnection and Empowerment
Join us for a transformative weekend retreat designed for men who are ready to reconnect with their inner strength and deepen their relationships with themselves and others. This immersive experience will take you through a carefully crafted journey of self-discovery, growth, and brotherhood.
Our weekend begins with **breathwork**, a powerful practice to clear the mind, awaken your body, and align your energy. You will then enter the sacred **sweat lodge**, where the heat and prayers will help purify and release what no longer serves you, creating space for renewal.
A profound **truffle ceremony** follows, guiding you into expanded states of consciousness where you can explore deeper truths and gain insight into your life's path. We conclude the weekend with **integration practices**, ensuring you have ample time and support to process and absorb the lessons and breakthroughs from the journey. There will also be time to build authentic, meaningful connections with each brother present.
Our diverse team of facilitators brings a wide range of backgrounds and expertise to the work, each contributing a unique element to the space. We believe that the tools and experiences shared during the retreat are universally needed, and it is our mission to ensure that what you learn and experience transcends the weekend.
The facilitators:
Jerry Mattox
Jerry is a facilitator with a unique approach: developed in part through his own personal pilgrimage and undying fascination with the intricacies of the human experience. As an instructor with the Breathwork Masterclass, Jerry offers a keen awareness of how the breath and nervous system contribute to personal transformation. A dedicated space holder- Jerry ensures a sacred container for exploration, while his incorporation of somatically informed shadow work invites profound self-discovery and healing. With an apologetically weird sense of humor, Jerry likes to titrate the deep work with moments of laughter. Jerry brings psychological, philosophical and mythic models of understanding to bear on the questions of how to live a conscious life and is well versed in the archetypes and stages of masculine transformative process.
Crue Kopecky
AKA “The Mood Director’ Is an adaptability and resilience coach. His tools include breathwork, movement, music, and games. His work is to help you find strength and self-love from the deepest parts of yourself. He believes this is the key to fully sharing your gifts in any situation, no matter what life throws at you. His motto is "Play Seriously,
" leading by example to take life seriously and be willing to do the deep work while ensuring that we never lose our
sense of play along the way.
Mark Gademan
Mark is the heart and soul behind ‘Het Verre Oosten,’ a place where people come to reconnect—with themselves and each other. He’s literally built the space with his own hands, shaping it into asanctuary for those seeking deeper connection. Before this, Mark’s world was festivals—he’s been behind the scenes at events like Lowlands and Paaspop, so he knows how to handle both chaos and calm. Always ready to step in and help, Mark’s got a down-to-earth vibe that puts people at ease. He’s a monthly host of a ’mens circle and he thrives where conversations go deep. For him, spirituality isn’t about avoiding reality; it’s about finding awareness in every moment— Mark is an embodied invitation for people to live more authentically.
You will leave with a deeper connection to your heart, more empowered in your relationships, and with the confidence to step fully into your place of power as the man you know you can be.
Cancelation Policy:
If and insofar as an Agreement has been concluded between the Client and "Reclaiming the Masculine", the duration of this Agreement shall be in accordance with what the parties have agreed. Both the Client and Reclaiming the Masculine may dissolve the Agreement on the basis of an attributable failure to comply with the Agreement only if the other party has been given notice of default in writing, as well as a reasonable period of time to comply with its obligations, and it fails imputably in this respect. This also includes the payment and cooperation obligations of the Client. The dissolution of the Agreement shall not affect the payment obligations of the Client if Reclaiming the Masculine has performed work or provided services at the time of dissolution. The Client must pay the agreed fee. The Client is not authorized to terminate an Agreement prematurely. The Client, being a consumer, can cancel an Agreement free of charge up to 1 month before the start date of the retreat. After this date (Tuesday 5th November 2024), the deposit is non-refundable.
