Welcoming Autumn with Cacao, with Babs and Willemijn

In this celebration of the Autumn Equinox Babs and Willemijn will share their passion for Yoga, Breath, Cacao and Music to guide you through an afternoon of connection with yourself and the community. The grounding and heart opening properties of cacao will support us in connecting with breath, body and mind to set our intentions for the Autumn and release what we no longer need. The session will consist of a sharing circle, mindful movement, breath, music and meditation. Both Willemijn and Babs have the fullest commitment to safety, confidentiality, inclusivity, and accessibility. Adults of all ages are welcome!


Babs is a certified breathwork and yoga teacher and her love for cacao started when she lived in Guatemala. As a cacao guardian she works together with a community of families to make sure they can keep growing and working the land in a sustainable way and still guard their Mayan traditions, In benefit of the land, people and animals.


Willemijn followed trainings in different "styles" of Yoga and continues to investigate topics around the body and mind such as Mantra recitation, fascia and Pilates. She fell in love with cacao a few years ago and had the pleasure to study with different teachers from The Netherlands, Guatemala and Costa Rica. Willemijn also leads the Kirtan at Inner Embassy and teaches regularly scheduled classes here, together they share a love for the healing and medicinal properties of cacao.


Note: the ceremonial use of cacao is not advised for those who take certain medications, like antidepressants like MAOIs or SSRIs. Tea will be offered for those who don’t drink cacao. Take a light and preferably vegetarian/ vegan lunch before the session, snacks will be provided after the session. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
