Contact Improvisation is a playful dance form in which you move, explore and improvise together with others. Through weight, balance and touch, you'll discover new ways of moving, communicating and collaborating. We guide you through the many layers of Contact Improvisation, from learning technical foundations to developing trust, creativity and intuitive movement. No prior dance experience is needed, just curiosity, openness and a willingness to move.

The course is designed as a journey: each class builds on what you have explored and learned in the previous sessions. For the richest experience and a deeper understanding of Contact Improvisation, we recommend joining the full course. Drop-in classes are also available if you’re unable to attend the complete series.

Another Kind Of Blue is known for beautiful choreography combined with cutting-edge technology. Internationally acclaimed, we create performances featuring drones, projections and, currently, a VR experience.

We believe dance is about more than perfection and technique. That's why we embrace Contact Improvisation, where spontaneity, curiosity and direct interaction are at the heart of the practice. We encourage people to let go of control, trust their instincts and each other, and discover new, unexpected ways of moving.
