Roman Murad Buder: “Love is the source of my work. Divine order -or healing- manifests when Love flows freely. The music transfers a message of deep longing, to remind human beings: I AM whole, I AM loved.”

*Over Roman Murad en over Healing Music Therapy*
Healing (Oriental) Music Therapy is a well-documented system used for therapeutic and preventative health treatment for over a thousand years, rooted in Sufi traditions. Since the 9th century, this therapy has been used as an auxiliary discipline of Islamic medicine in hospitals throughout the Orient. The roots of oriental music therapy extend from the Anatolian hospitals, to the Shamans of the Central Asian steppes.
The modern framework of oriental music therapy, based on extensive historical material and traditional knowledge, was brought to new life by psychologist, musician, music therapist and Sufi-Master Dr. Rahmi Oruç Güvenç (1948 -2017).
Roman Murad Buder, music artist, sculptor and (shamanic)healer and embodies a universal, deeply compassionate and holistic approach to Sufism and Music Therapy.
As music artist Roman Murad is a gifted player and deeply connected with Ney (Turkish reed flute) and Kilkobyz (Kazakh shamanic stringed instrument).
For more than 20 years he studied Music Therapy and Ney with Dr. Rahmi Oruç Güvenç, and with Ney-Masters Niyazi Sayin and Ömer Erdugdular.
For kylkobyz, he is deeply inspired by female Master, Raushan Orazbayeva, and he studies with her on as many occasions as possible.
In the concept of Music Therapy, the individual is considered a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual entity, in which music exerts a purifying and healing effect.
Healing Music Therapy by Roman Murad is a cosmic blend of Oriental and Shamanic sounds, based on maqām, and tuned to 432Hz, the healing frequency of the Heart.
Maqām is the principle melodic concept in Oriental music. It is not merely a musical scale, but an entire framework for composition and improvisation that shapes the structure and emotional depth of the music. Each maqam has its own unique character and spiritual resonance.
