# GLOBAL MUSH GATHERING 2027
**April 16–18, 2027 — Liège, Belgium**
The Global MUSH Gathering is a weekend dedicated to the people who bring cuddle and MUSH spaces to life.
This gathering is **reserved for MUSH facilitators and Angels involved in organising and supporting MUSH cuddle events**.
The intention is to create a truly **international gathering between the different MUSH communities**: an opportunity for the people who organise and hold these spaces in different countries to meet, connect, share their experiences, and inspire one another.
We want this to be a living community experience.
A space to exchange about our practices, share what works well in our events as well as the challenges we encounter, discover new ideas, share tools, and simply enjoy being together — and having lots of cuddles.
There will be moments for group sharing, workshops, and collective exploration, but also plenty of space for informal connection, cuddles, conversations, rest, and spontaneous moments.
This gathering is also an opportunity to continue developing a shared MUSH culture together: how we create welcoming and safer spaces, how we care for consent and boundaries, how we support participants and Angels, and how we can support the growth of our different communities.
But above all, we would love this weekend to be an opportunity to **put faces to the different MUSH communities around the world**, strengthen the connections between us, and help this international network grow.
## PRACTICAL INFORMATION
**Dates:** April 16–18, 2027
**Location:** Liège, Belgium
### Friday, April 16
Please plan to arrive **before 6:00 PM**, so that we can begin the gathering together.
We would really love everyone to be there from the beginning, as the opening of the weekend will allow us to create the space and group dynamic together.
### Sunday, April 18
The gathering will officially end at **3:00 PM**.
The venue will remain open for a little while afterwards for those who would like to stay, connect, cuddle, or simply take their time before leaving.
If you need to leave earlier to catch a train or flight, that is of course absolutely fine.
For those travelling from further away, it will also be possible to stay **one extra night at the venue**.
## CONTRIBUTION
A conscious financial contribution of **€150 to €250, depending on your means**, will be requested for the weekend.
Please choose the amount that feels possible and fair for you, according to your means.
Your contribution helps cover the cost of the venue, snacks and drinks, as well as the time and work involved in organising and hosting the gathering.
**Accommodation and meals are not included in this contribution and will need to be paid for separately.**
## ACCOMMODATION
You will have several options for staying overnight:
* **Sleep on site in a dormitory: €20 per person per night**, bringing your own sleeping bag.
* **Sleep in a shared room with 2 to 3 people: €40 per person per night**, with sheets and a duvet provided.
* **Book your own hotel or Airbnb** if that feels more comfortable for you. In that case, you will be responsible for making the reservation yourself.
## WHO IS THIS GATHERING FOR?
This gathering is reserved for:
**MUSH facilitators**
and
**Angels actively involved in organising or supporting MUSH cuddle events.**
This is therefore not a MUSH event open to the general public.
The intention is to create a more intimate space for the people who hold and bring these communities to life, where we can meet as peers, share our experiences more openly, and strengthen the MUSH network as a whole.
A weekend to reconnect, inspire one another, build bridges between our different communities, and imagine together what comes next for MUSH.
## HYGIENE & SHARED SPACE
Because we will be spending the weekend in close physical contact as a group, we ask everyone to **check carefully for head lice before coming to the gathering**.
If someone arrives with lice, we reserve the right to **refuse entry to the gathering**, as this would create a risk for the whole group.
If you choose to sleep in the dormitory and bring your own sleeping bag, please make sure it has been **freshly washed or thoroughly cleaned before bringing it to the venue**, so that we reduce the risk of bringing lice, bed bugs, or other unwanted pests into the shared sleeping space.
Thank you for helping us take care of the group and the venue.
## CANCELLATION POLICY
If you are unable to attend the gathering for any reason, including illness, the **first €150 of your contribution is non-refundable**.
If you chose to contribute more than €150, **any amount paid above €150 will be refunded to you**.
This means that choosing a higher conscious contribution does not increase the financial risk of cancelling: only the €150 base contribution remains non-refundable.
This policy helps us cover the fixed costs of the gathering and the commitments made in advance to organise and host the event.
We are very excited to welcome the MUSH Family to Liège. ❤️
