AUTUMN EQUINOX - A Cacao & Sound Journey

There are moments in the turning of the year when we are invited to pause.

The Autumn Equinox is one of them.

For a brief moment, light and darkness meet in balance before the days begin to grow quieter and the natural world slowly turns inward.

This evening at Mahara is an invitation to honour that transition, not by rushing into the next season, but by pausing long enough to listen.

We will gather in the warmth of the yurt for an intimate seasonal ceremony, combining cacao, ritual, reflection and sound.

We begin by exploring the meaning of the Autumn Equinox and the changing rhythm of the season, before sharing cacao as a moment of arrival, connection and inner listening.

You will then be invited into a simple Equinox ritual of reflection: a space to acknowledge what is completing and what you wish to consciously nurture as you move into the season ahead.

Each participant will receive a small amethyst moon to accompany the journey and take home as a little reminder of the season.

From there, the evening moves into a deeply immersive sound journey, allowing vibration, resonance and silence to carry you away from the noise of the outside world and into a quieter inner space.

We will close with time for stillness, integration, herbal tea and nourishing bites.

A moment to pause at the threshold.

And to enter the new season consciously.

No previous experience with meditation, cacao or sound healing is required.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the event
Duration: 2 hours (18:00-20:00)
We begin with ceremonial cacao
Mats and props are already laid out, ready to welcome you

(Optional) journal and pen

Ceremonial cacao is a gentle heart-opening plant.
Please avoid if you have serious heart conditions.
If you are pregnant or taking antidepressants, feel free to reach out beforehand so we can adjust or offer an alternative.
