The Men’s Table – Is It for You?

Share a meal. Have real conversations.

Everything okay? Really?

How are things actually going when it comes to work, relationships, children, health, money and friendships? Probably sometimes well and sometimes not so well. No one has everything figured out all the time.

How would it feel to regularly sit down with a small group of men? To share a meal, exchange experiences and hear how other men deal with life’s challenges?

That is the Men’s Table: a permanent group of men who meet once a month to share a good meal and have real conversations. Everyone listens to one another, without judgement and without immediately offering advice. You don’t need to be fixed. You can simply join as you are.

Curious whether the Men’s Table might be for you?

Join our introductory evening in Utrecht. We will explain why we started the Men’s Table, how an evening works and which guidelines help create an open and trusting atmosphere.

We will begin by sharing a meal. Afterwards, we will explain the idea behind the Men’s Table and there will be plenty of time for questions. You won’t be expected to share anything personal or take part in anything you don’t feel comfortable with.

After the introductory evening, you can join an actual Men’s Table meeting to experience it for yourself. If there is enough interest, a permanent group will be formed and will continue to meet independently once a month. We will remain available to offer guidance and support from a distance.

Food will be provided. It would be great if you could bring something small to share, such as bread, soup or a salad. If that isn’t possible, that’s no problem at all.

The number of places at the table is limited, so please reserve your place in advance.
