🔬 Micro to Macro: Playing with Perception

✨ What happens when we play with the scale of our perception?

In this two-hour class, we explore how our attention can move from the smallest details of our own body into our partner and eventually into the whole space and group. 🌱

👁️ We’ll explore shifting between different scales of perception — from sensing ourselves in the space, to meeting another body, to becoming aware of the larger group dynamics around us. How does the dance change when our attention expands or contracts?

🌱 How can we move from solo awareness into connection with a partner, and from the partner into the wider field of the group?

A juicy mix of anatomy, movement research, partnering and improvisation — playing with attention, perception, spatial awareness and group dynamics. We’ll explore solo, duo and group practices, discovering how changing our perspective can open new possibilities in the dance. 🌀

🌊 From micro to macro — from the intimate experience of our own body to the larger ecology of the dance. 🌍
