🔥 The eyes of the dance - Skin & Fascia

What if the skin and fascia could become the eyes of the dance?

In this two-hour class, we explore sensing through the skin and fascia as a way of perceiving ourselves, our partner and the space around us in Contact Improvisation.

We’ll explore touch, pressure, sliding, stretching and listening through the body, discovering how the skin and fascial web can give us more information about where we are and where the dance wants to go.

🌊 How can sensing through the skin and fascia help us to soften, respond, redirect momentum and find new pathways into the dance?

🔥 A juicy mix of anatomy, biomechanics, touch, partnering and improvisation — turning the body into a sensitive field of perception and opening more freedom in the dance.
