Join the Huni Kuin family from Aldeia Mê Nia Ibu Isaka, from Acre, in the Brazilian Amazon for an intimate day of traditional songs, prayers, nature, ancestral wisdom and connection with sacred plant medicine.

For the third consecutive year, we have the honour of welcoming this beautiful family to the Netherlands. They travel through Europe sharing their ancestral knowledge, music, prayers and culture, while helping sustain their village and future generations in the Brazilian Amazon.

This gathering will be guided with deep care and joy by:

Who is this day ceremony for?

For those who feel called to experience the medicine:
Maybe you’re a mother.
Maybe work makes a full weekend difficult.
Maybe a weekend retreat is simply too much financially or practically at this moment.

This day ceremony gives you another way to join the Huni Kuin family and experience their prayers, songs, ancestral wisdom and medicine within an intimate and carefully supported setting.

Both first-time and experienced participants are welcome.

During the day

• Welcome and time to meet the Huni Kuin family
• Opening of the ceremonial space with traditional prayers and sacred Huni Kuin songs
• One traditional Huni Kuin ceremony in connection with the sacred plant wisdom of the Amazon
• Rapéh
• Sananga
• Time to rest and ground after the ceremony
• A shared potluck meal to close the day together

Rapéh and Sananga will be offered within the traditional ceremonial setting. Receiving these medicines is optional.

What is included?

• The full one-day ceremonial programme
• An online group intake and preparation call before the ceremony
• Tea and light snacks throughout the day
• An online group integration circle after the ceremony

At the end of the day, we will share a potluck meal together. We invite everyone to bring a dish or something nourishing to share with the group.

As this is a day ceremony, you can return home afterwards and sleep in your own bed.

For those who prefer not to travel home the same evening, there may be a possibility to stay overnight at the location for an additional fee.
