Stemless Introduction Evening (with James Brown))

Welcome fellow humans! You are invited to a couple of hours of experiencing your experience together.

‘Stemless’ is a relational presence practice where we connect via direct transmission of our rich inner experience without explanation.

In this practice we assume meanings or perceptions as the main object of our attention, rather than emotions, body sensations or thoughts. What is the meaning of this moment to me? What is it? What am I, in the logic of the dream of reality that I’m dreaming? What are you? How can I wake up– to lucid-dream this moment? If this were a play, what character am I? What character are you?

We will look for the “what’s” that describe your experience, not the “how’s” and definitely not the “why’s.”

Past participants have said the practice is psychedelic, pointless, deeply connecting and alive, endlessly frustrating, what do I do with all this freedom!?

Like in any interpersonal practice, difficult emotional material may arise. We trust your self-responsibility in a decision to participate. Although we will hold each other with care, we cannot guess what emotional safety means to you and we do not guarantee it.
