**An evening in the Temazcal. Twelve spots.**

Yuli is visiting us from Colombia. She is a traditional midwife from the Indigenous Muisca Community, a mother, and a wonderful human being. For the past 19 years, she has been supporting women and families through fertility, pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey as a traditional midwife.

**This Temazcal is open to both women and men.** While much of Yuli's work is dedicated to supporting women, she also guides mixed Temazcal ceremonies, welcoming everyone into this ancient tradition.

Especially for women, Yuli leads medicine ceremonies, including ritual cleansing practices such as temazcal, smudging, massage, and herbal baths. She also hosts women's circles and spaces for knowledge sharing and exchange. Her work is rooted in personal experience and the inherited wisdom of the Medicine Women and Knowledge Holders of her community. Today, she leads the Training School of Natural Medicine, Women's Medicine, and traditional Muisca Midwifery.

A temazcal (sweat lodge) is a centuries-old ritual, practiced by Indigenous communities across the world. This evening, we gather on the edge of the fields in Leiden, overlooking the Dutch polder landscape.

It's not a sauna. It's an evening spent outdoors around the fire. Together, we prepare the space before entering the low dome covered with wool blankets. Once inside, the door closes, the space becomes completely dark, and the heat invites you inward.

Inside, you return to the basics: your breath, your body, the beat of your heart. The warmth helps soften what feels heavy. The silence creates space to reconnect with yourself and listen to what is present within.

**The Evening**
17:00 until around 22:00

We gather for one evening. A light shared dinner is included after the ceremony. Please bring something small for the potluck, and we'll provide a big pot of nourishing soup.

**Price**
€111 per person.

The temazcal takes place in our magical polder landscape. The willow trees have been growing here for decades, patiently waiting to be honoured. The time is now.
