Nonviolent Communication is a method of communication focused on connection and is therefore also known as Connecting Communication. How do you truly hear each other and reconnect? This is not a complicated or avoidant way of communicating; instead, it is about setting boundaries, creating clarity, being who you are, and giving emotions space.

During this Introductory Training, you will be introduced to Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication model in a small group. We will delve into the theory, but above all, we will get to work on practical exercises using everyday examples and recognizable situations. You will gain more insight into the key drivers behind your behavior, perceptions, and communication style, and the pitfalls that cause conversations to take an unpleasant turn or prevent you from truly being seen or heard.

Because we want to make our training accessible to as many people as possible, we use different price levels. Decide for yourself which rate applies to you. For those who have taken an Introductory Training at Equanimity or elsewhere, there is also the 1-day Follow-up Training, where you will continue practicing applying the knowledge gained during the introductory training. We delve deeper into self-empathy, empathic listening, and expressing oneself honestly. For example, you will practice in role-playing exercises how to deal with anger and frustration, as well as feelings of shame and guilt—both your own and those of others.
