🌊 SATURDAY – Surrender & Support
We’ll explore how to create more surrender and support in the dance.
How can you slow down, speed up, and truly connect through trust?
We’ll work on:
• Building trust & yumminess between leader & follower
• How touch influences connection
• Finding surrender in both close embrace and open position
• Using headmovements with more relaxation and dynamic changes

🔥SUNDAY – Textures & Musicality
A whole new world opens when we play with textures.
We’ll explore:
• Soft vs sharp qualities in movement
• Textures of body movements
• Adding layers and musicality
• Exploring personality

About the teachers:
Xanne Mensinga has a background as a performance artist in theatre. She has experience in various dance styles, including Contemporary, Ballet, Hip Hop, Argentine Tango, and since 2018 she has been dancing Brazilian Zouk. She has been teaching Zouk for over five years, and in the past year she has taught at several international events. Her approach balances technique, flow, and expression. She helps dancers develop more surrender, softness and dynamic in their dance.
Sidney Cardozo is a partner dancer with over 15 years of experience in Argentine Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and Brazilian Zouk. Since 2019, he has trained with Zouk artists from around the world, building a strong foundation in technique, connection, and musicality. Drawing from his recent training in massage and yoga, Sidney brings a body-aware approach to dance, helping dancers move more efficiently, reduce tension, and improve balance, mobility, and longevity on the dance floor.
