Queer Yoga: Moving Together in Queer Joy
This session is more than just a yoga practice—it’s an invitation to explore the connective, joyful, and collective aspects of yoga together. We will move, breathe, and play as a group, discovering how connection can deepen both our individual and shared experiences.
At times, we will turn inward, grounding into our own bodies—challenging our physical limits, clearing the mind, and arriving at a place of emotional calm. At other moments, we will explore the strength of support and togetherness through partner and group-based asanas. Expect a practice that is both deep and lighthearted—nurturing, yet energizing.
This full-spectrum session includes warm-up, Vinyasa flow, Yin yoga, breathwork, meditation, and deep relaxation. All levels are welcome.
About Can:
Can worked for 8 years at Cihangir Yoga, one of Turkey’s largest yoga studios. He is a Yoga Alliance-certified teacher with over 1000 hours of training and leads Yin Yoga Teacher Trainings and retreats.
He is also a performance artist, creating interdisciplinary works that explore themes such as connection, embodiment, and queer identity through movement, ritual, and audience interaction. His projects reimagine traditions and investigate the relationship between self and collective, often blending somatic practices with contemporary performance.
With a 22-year somatic background, Can integrates knowledge gained from working with psychologists, art therapists, physiotherapists, metaphysical teachers, and shamans into his classes. He creates a space that is both challenging and deeply safe.

about Semih:
Semih’s journey with yoga began nearly 15 years ago as a purely physical practice. Over time, he developed a deeper connection and expanded his path by completing a Vinyasa teacher training in Amsterdam in 2020. He has since continued with trainings in Yin Yoga and Mindfulness, cultivating a strong focus on the mind–body connection, mindful movement, and body awareness. Most recently, he completed his training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
In his classes, Semih blends dynamic movement with awareness, combining elements of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. He creates a calm and welcoming environment where students can build strength, deepen awareness, and reconnect with themselves.
