Our next ceremony weekend with the jungle's Sacred Vine Medicine will take place from April 12 to 13 2025, near to Brighton, U.K., at a rural location in a beautiful healing space.
This ceremony is offered in spirit and service of traditional knowledge, and by millenary cultural, spiritual, botanical and therapeutic practices of indigenous Mexico and the Amazon. Part of your contribution flows back to support our local medicine family in the Ecuadorian upper Amazon where the sacred vine is grown for us and for generations to come.
GUIDANCE
We bring our ceremony under the traditional and loving guidance of Mexican medicine man Mano ‘Churuwia’. With the help of an experienced family of assistants and apprentices he's been providing safe spaces for healing in the last years for people around the world who have recognized the healing powers of the sacred plants and rituals.
Mano is a medicine man of Mexican and Dutch descent who has been following and training along this path since 2003, integrating North- and South American traditions and plant medicines. He trains and works with medicine Elders and wisdom keepers in Mexico and Ecuador, providing retreats, ceremonies, healings, medicine music, sweat lodges, ‘limpias’, therapies with medicinal plants and herbs and healing massages. As a traditional plant medicine singer and player of native instruments such as the ‘tumank' (a traditional Shuar monochord) and a Shuar violin, Kichwa harmonicas, flutes and the guitar, Mano guides ceremonies, with the support of wonderful medicine musicians, to bring out the highest vibrations from the medicine's healing powers.
Commonly known by the Siberian word ‘shaman’, in Mano's lineage these are the exclusive practices of the ‘Uwishin’ (Shuar Nation, Amazon) and 'Nahual’, ‘Curandero’ or ‘Sanador’ (healer) in Mexico. Mano has been recognized a traditional doctor, and is a member of various organizations of native councils in North and South America who advocate for indigenous rights and freedom to use medicinal plants, such as COFEMITES (World Confederation for Integrative, Complementary and Traditional Medicine & Health Education); UDH (Ibero-American University of Science and Human Development) and GAIPREM (Multi ethnic Autonomous Indigenous Governorships of the Republic of Mexico) and FSI Ecuador (by Dr.h.c Uwishin Hilario Chiriap).
HEALTH & MEDICATION
! medications with MAOI’s and SSRI’s are not compatible with the medicine and impose serious DANGER to your health! Therefore it is not possible to participate if you have used the following medication in the 1 to 3 months prior to the ceremony: neuro-psychiatric medications, selective serotonin inhibitors (SSRI) or monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI) such as antidepressants or anticonvulsants. Please consult your physician on how to taper off your medication safely.
Let us know your situation for an opinion and remember the intake interview and health check we do before admitting you to ceremony is mandatory and relies on your complete honesty and signature.
LOCATION
The ceremony will take place in a spacious ceremony barn, with a fire outside, in a rural area near Brighton.
It can best be reached by car but it is also possible to arrive by train and taxi. The exact address will be provided a few days prior to the ceremony.
There are some beds available in shared rooms, at an additional cost. You should reserve in time if you need one for a quiet daytime rest. The ceremony space will also available and quiet for resting during the day.
WHAT TO BRING
You will need to bring your own mattress, pillow and blankets, comfortable warm clothing and slippers. There is no dress code, but it's good to attend the ceremony in white clothing. Make sure you bring a change of clothes and underwear. There's showers, but you'll need to bring your soap and towel. For the daytime rest you could bring some earplugs and an eye mask.
A balanced organic breakfast will be available and lunch for those who stay the full weekend. In the spirit of sharing, we ask everyone to bring something nutritious to share at the altar and at breakfast: some fruits, bread, seeds, juice, healthy pie or quiche. It doesn't need to be much, but please bring the least of waste (packages, plastics wraps etc.) and the same for water: if possible please bring your water in refillable bottles.

Our ceremonies with the medicine take place from ‘dusk till dawn’. During the day you will have time to rest & digest as much as you can.

SAFETY NOTE
Please note that for your own safety and also the integrity of the work, you cannot leave during or shortly after the ceremony. We ask you to make sure that you get enough rest after the ceremony before driving back. Please do not commit to appointments right after ceremony.

This includes 2 medicine ceremonies, guidance and food: a light breakfast on both days and a good lunch on Saturday. It is possible to make your payment in 2 installments, through a payment link you will receive after your intake.
Single night participation: £300 (€357)
Returning participants receive a £50 discount
This includes 1 ceremony and breakfast. Payment is without installment
There are only 5 places available for participating a single night. This is because we find two ceremonies much more beneficial than one, and it supports the group’s harmony over the weekend.
Your reservation excludes lodging. There´s some beds available in dorms in the house. If you would like to use one, you should reserve on time. Please ask for more information on the costs.
The ceremony space will be quiet and available for resting during daytime, at no additional cost. On Sunday only available until 12.00
PAYMENT & CANCELATION
Please note that the payment is non-refundable since we need the full commitment of the number of participants. If you cannot attend due to an emergency situation your spot can be transferred to another person or (if cancelled more than 1 week before) rescheduled to a next ceremony.
